NFC tags or QR labels on machines and task points let technicians open the right tasks with a tap or a scan — no typing, no searching. Technicians can work through their tasks, readings and photos even when the production area has no Wi-Fi, and the app syncs to the central dashboard the moment the device reconnects.

Tasks live on the task points, and reports and the dashboard roll them up by machine, line and site. One account can run any number of production sites; the site switcher in the web dashboard's header scopes the view to one site or shows all of them, so management sees consolidated reports across sites. On request, Pegotec can limit what each manager and supervisor sees to the production sites they run.

ERP maintenance modules are typically office-facing — designed for purchase orders, procurement, and work-order accounting. Smart Maintenance Task Manager is shop-floor-facing — designed for a technician with greasy hands holding a mobile phone, scanning an NFC tag, working through a checklist with photos. Both can coexist: the ERP handles procurement and finance; Smart Maintenance Task Manager handles execution and a timestamped record of the work done, plus on-floor stock consumption with the optional Inventory module (available on request).

Overdue tasks are highlighted on the technician's phone and on the manager's live dashboard, and overdue alerts arrive in the app and as push notifications (email on request). Escalation is optional — your Admin switches it on: an overdue task then goes to the supervisor, then to managers and admins, after the number of hours you set for each step. Completion rates per line and machine, and each technician's on-time and late work, are in the reports.
