Maintenance Management Software Built for Industrial Teams
Smart Maintenance Task Manager is a CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) that covers every step, from building a preventive maintenance schedule to a technician scanning an NFC tag or QR code on a machine and submitting photo evidence of a completed task. Web dashboard for managers. Mobile app for technicians.

Frequently Asked Questions
Glove Mode is a built-in accessibility setting designed for factory technicians who operate the app while wearing work gloves. When enabled from Settings → Accessibility, every interactive element in the app scales up: touch targets grow from 48dp to 60–72dp, checkboxes scale from 24dp to 40–44dp, form fields and dropdown rows expand, the navigation rail widens, and list rows gain extra vertical padding. The app also fires haptic feedback on every button press and checkbox toggle so technicians can feel their input even through thick gloves. The preference is saved and restored automatically across restarts — enable it once and it stays on. Glove Mode is free and included in all subscriptions.
All features are included in every Smart Maintenance Task Manager subscription — there are no separate module fees or feature tiers. This includes preventive scheduling, the mobile app for iOS and Android, NFC integration, safety and LOTO enforcement, lubrication management, reporting, multi-site management, and offline sync.
Yes. Smart Maintenance Task Manager enforces LOTO at the software level. Any machine flagged as "lockout required" presents a full-screen safety acknowledgment gate to the technician before the maintenance form becomes accessible. The technician must confirm each safety step — and this confirmation is logged with a timestamp and their user ID.
Yes. The mobile app is built offline-first. Technicians execute tasks, complete checklists, and capture photos without any network connection. All data syncs automatically to the server when the device reconnects. Background sync runs every 15 minutes when connected.
Yes. Smart Maintenance Task Manager is built for multi-site operations from one login. The Site Switcher in the dashboard header flips between any individual production site and the all-sites view in one click. Each site keeps its own data, teams, and schedules; consolidated dashboards roll up performance across every facility. Site managers stay focused on their own floor while directors see the whole picture — without re-logging or re-filtering.
Yes. Define shifts and rotation patterns — eight ready-made industry presets such as Continental, DuPont, Panama 2-2-3, and 4-on-4-off, or fully custom — assign technicians with staggered crews, and record absences and extra time on a roster calendar. When assigning a task, planners see whether the technician is on shift and get an advisory warning if not — never a hard block. Shift planning is optional per company: technicians without a shift assignment simply count as always available. Technicians also see their own roster and log time off from the mobile app, and any absent technician who still has work assigned is flagged to their manager.
Yes. Every notification is logged as it goes out — across in-app, push, and email — with its delivery status and, where sign-off is required, who acknowledged it and whether they met the deadline. Administrators can review delivery success rates per channel, surface anything still unacknowledged, and export the full trail to CSV for compliance or safety reporting.
Yes. You map your real reporting chain — manager oversees supervisor, supervisor oversees technician — and Smart Maintenance Task Manager automatically scopes everyone's view to what they manage. A line supervisor sees only their team's tasks, schedules, and reports. A plant manager sees the consolidated picture and can drill into any supervisor's team. When a technician's reporting line changes, their data scope updates with it on the next mobile sync — no permission audit, no manual filtering.
Smart Maintenance Task Manager uses five levels: Production Site → Production Line → Asset/Machine → Section → Task Point. This mirrors how industrial facilities are physically organized. Each level has its own maintenance tasks, history, and status.
Mappers get a dedicated Mapping tab, separate from the technician task view. Every structural action — add, edit, delete, move, reorder — is visible on each hierarchy card (no hidden long-press, no mode to toggle). Drill from production site to line to asset to section to task point, set up each task point's tasks and measurements, and write its NFC tag, and multi-select task points to verify or remove them in bulk. The technician's Hierarchy view stays focused purely on executing work. Building and editing the hierarchy on mobile is enabled per company; writing NFC tags is available to mappers regardless of where structural mapping is done.
The app includes a built-in NFC Tester in Settings, open to everyone. Scan a tag to see its type, whether it holds readable data, its UID, and whether it's registered to a task point. Blank tags are flagged clearly — they must be written before they can be scanned — and a one-tap write-and-read self-test proves the reader and a spare tag work end to end, so an NFC problem in the field is diagnosed in seconds rather than guessed at.
NFC tags are small stickers attached to machines. When a technician taps their phone or tablet against the tag, the app instantly opens that machine's task list — no typing, no searching. Tags are written directly from the mobile app using the built-in NFC write feature. No separate hardware or app is needed.
Yes. Smart Maintenance Task Manager includes a built-in QR and barcode scanner that uses the device camera. Point the camera at a QR code label or existing barcode sticker on a machine — the app identifies the equipment and opens its task list, exactly as NFC does. QR scanning works on all iOS and Android devices (no NFC chip required). It can be enabled or disabled per company. When enabled, technicians can choose between NFC and QR from a single scan button in the app. Turning it off only hides the QR option — no data is deleted.
Smart Maintenance Task Manager provides a real-time web dashboard, historical task reports, technician performance reports, completion vs target KPI reports, the Maintenance Effectiveness Index (MEI — a maintenance-adapted effectiveness score combining equipment availability, schedule compliance, and first-pass quality, computed automatically from your maintenance data; no production data entry needed), yearly reports with year-over-year comparison, flowchart view, and full XLSX export. Large reports are generated as background jobs and available for download when ready.
Yes. The Technician Activity report shows one technician's completed tasks for a single Day, Week, or Month — with the full task location (production line, asset, section, task point), task type, on-time vs late status, time spent per task, any readings recorded (quantity, temperature, vibration, wear, pressure, current, time), and any remarks left. Each view prints on its own, so it doubles as a defensible work record for shift reviews, appraisals, audits, or client reporting.
Smart Maintenance Task Manager supports 14 languages: Arabic, Bengali, Chinese (Mandarin), Dutch, English, French, German, Indonesian, Italian, Portuguese, Romanian, Spanish, Thai, and Turkish. Each technician can set their own language preference — it is per-user, not per-device or per-installation. Task instructions can also be translated into multiple languages, so technicians see work instructions in their own language. The translation system is flexible — additional languages can be added on request.
